To further support the ongoing PR campaign aimed at enhancing the reputation of the Garston-based academy, CPMM Media Group identified video as a powerful tool to support the Year 6 to Year 7 transition and to convey key messages and updates within the school. Taking a proactive approach, we developed impactful videos for both the secondary school and sixth form.
Aims
The main objective was to make The Academy of St Nicholas the first choice secondary school in Garston. The power of video would help the school showcase its state-of-the-art facilities and high-quality faith-based education and pastoral support on offer to prospective parents and families whose children were joining in September.
It also acted as an informative video which highlighted key aspects of the school day, e.g. Yondr pouches and the uniform hub. The school wanted students to “do the talking,” allowing their experiences and voices to take centre stage.
This approach was designed to inform and reassure the new cohort, while also strengthening confidence in the academy.
Results / impact
The academy’s transition video successfully engaged audiences and supported the strategic goal of informing and preparing students starting at the school.
The sixth form campaign is ongoing, but early indications show strong admission numbers, reflecting positive engagement and interest from prospective students.
