Earlier this year, The Academy of St Nicholas celebrated receiving a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement and it was up to CPMM to share this amazing news within the community.
In the 13-year history of a school occupying the site, it is the first time it has achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted in all areas.
CPMM has worked with the academy over the past year, helping to improve its reputation through PR, and we recognised very quickly that this huge achievement needed to reach a wider audience, particularly to the families in Garston and the nearby areas.
The academy is fortunate enough to be located near South Liverpool’s main gateway into the city and the team recommended implementing a digital billboard campaign – and it just so happens that there are two large digital screens by the school on Speke Road!
Following a professional photoshoot involving a group of Year 7 students, we created an eye-catching concept with a memorable strapline to match – reaffirming the school’s location in Garston and recent Ofsted judgement.
The digital billboard campaign was booked across both screens for a period of two weeks and was seen by thousands of drivers, passengers, bus user, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Together with a proactive PR campaign and a strategic social media plan, we were able to turnaround a successful campaign in time with the Ofsted report going live.
